Muhammad Qavi Khan, better known by his screen name Qavi Khan, is a Pakistani/Canadian film, television, radio and stage actor.


Qavi Khan was born on November 13th, 1942 and started his acting career as a child star at the age of 5 from radio. He is one of the first actors of PTV when it started in 1964.

Though now largely working in television, he has acted in over 200 films. He has also produced 13 feature films and directed few of them. His awards include: ‘Nigar Award’ for best supporting actor in film, Best Actor award for Pakistan television. ‘Pride of Performance’ and ‘Sitara e imtiaz’ from government of Pakistan. He also got lifetime achievement award by Pakistan Television Corporation.

Qavi khan is a living legend from Pakistan and is an institution in him. He is in the industry for more than 70 years and still considered most committed actor. He finds himself very lucky to have spent all his life following his passion. He cannot thank enough for being so much respected and loved all around the world.
