Leela Ladnier, 17, is an actress, dancer, singer-songwriter. and high school senior who is passionate about human rights and protecting Mother Earth. She began singing before she could talk and started dancing at the age of 2. Leela is the series lead (Mira) in Disney Junior’s newest animated series Mira, Royal Detective which debuted Spring 2020, and she is currently recording season 2. Her credits include principle roles in the feature film Boris and the Bomb and the short film Augury; NBCU Short Film Festival finalist, Touch; Disney Channel’s Bizaardvark; and a lead dancer in Smurfs: The Lost Village dance featurette. Theatre credits include Mamma Mia (Donna), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Olive), Aladdin (Jasmine), Footloose (Rusty), The Sound of Music (Mother Superior), A Midsummer Nights Dream (Puck), and The Tempest (Ariel). At 13 Leela wrote and produced her debut album Society of Silence.
